I feel incredibly fortunate to have the career I've always dreamed of. From the beginning, I was presented with exciting and fun opportunities. However, over time, I began to develop health complications and became extremely sensitive to the products I was using in the salon.
I quickly learned that the products you're exposed to can have a significant impact on your overall health. After extensive research, I made major changes in how I ate, took care of my body, managed stress, and—most importantly—how I worked behind the chair. A decade ago, it wasn't easy to shift to a cleaner, healthier approach to beauty when "clean beauty" was not yet mainstream. I overhauled the hair products, hair color, and work environment to align with my new values.
I began by renting a small space behind a natural bath and body shop and eventually opened my own holistic hair salon in Florida. The salon was a huge success! I was able to help women dealing with cancer recovery, hair loss, hormonal issues, autoimmune diseases, allergies to traditional hair color, and more. It was truly a blessing to take a challenging situation, turn it around, and help others along the way.
Two years ago, my husband and I decided to sell the salon and our home and start fresh in North Carolina. What an adventure it has been!
We love taking our rescue dog Drew on hikes, trying out new restaurants, visiting wineries, and, of course, experiencing the beauty of the Fall season.
After taking a break, I am now ready to fully return to the holistic hair community and offer women in the Raleigh area healthier, safer hair options.
I would love for you to be a part of this journey!
