It took years of research to find the products that I currently work with. A lot of companies made claims that weren't true, were super "clean" but didn't work, or just didn't meet the ethical standards that I wasn't willing to compromise.
I'm very proud of the effort and research I've put in, in order to give my clients the very best.
After spending almost a decade as a organic colorist in Florida, I'm excited to share my biggest passion with my guests here in North Carolina.

No. The closest thing to completely natural hair color is henna, however I found it to have limiting colors and wasn't going to perform at the level I needed it to. Instead, I looked at the most natural and gentlest products on the market that gave me the results I felt were the best for my clients.
I hand selected products free of the most common allergens found in hair color. Free of ammonia, PPD, and resorcinol. I only work with companies that are ethically sourced and the healthiest on the market, while still remaining high salon performing. Therefor those who typically can't color their hair at a traditional salon may have a better chance of getting their hair done.
Absolutely! At least 75% of my clients come to me for grey coverage. I offer a variety of coverage options, including full coverage.
No. Though some of us have gotten use to inhaling ammonia and strong fragrances, this may lead to health concerns in the future. I've heard clients tell me how they no longer leave the hair salon with headaches. I love that!
First of all I always recommend speaking to a doctor first if you're experiencing hair loss. But in the meantime, in my experience conventional hair color weakens the hair and may cause hair loss. Whenever I use to touch up my own hair it would fall out in clumps. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! Not only have I seen the changes in my own hair but in so many of my clients. If you're experiencing hair loss making this switch may help tremendously and I'm happy to help improve the health of your hair.
Though I do work with healthier versions of lightener, I don't have access to magical bleach that won't cause damage or breakage if I try to lighten your hair more than it can handle. That being said, I'll still be able to deliver beautiful dimensional results depending on the client's hair. Want to see if what you're wanting is achievable by me? Unfortunately no. Though I do very much enjoy doing them, there aren't any vivid colors on the market that I find clean enough to carry in my salon space. I have played around with brands in the past but didn't meet the standards I was looking for. But I am open to the idea in the future if the right products becomes available.
Typical color processing time is normally 35 to 45 minutes. I use an advanced hair steaming technique that is more gentle on the hair and shortens the time to just 20 minutes.
