It took years of research to find the products I currently work with. Many companies made claims that didn’t hold up, offered "clean" options that didn’t work, or simply didn’t meet the ethical standards I was unwilling to compromise on.
I’m incredibly proud of the time and effort I’ve invested in ensuring I offer my clients only the very best.
After spending nearly a decade as an organic colorist in Florida, I’m excited to bring my passion and expertise to my guests here in North Carolina.

No, the closest thing to completely natural hair color is henna. However, I found that it had limited color options and didn't perform at the level I needed. Instead, I focused on finding the most natural and gentle products on the market that delivered the results I felt were best for my clients.
I hand-select products that are free from the most common allergens found in hair color, including ammonia, PPD, and resorcinol. I only work with companies that use ethically sourced ingredients and offer the healthiest options on the market, all while maintaining high-performance results in the salon. This means that those who typically can't color their hair at a traditional salon may have a better chance of achieving the look they want with my services.
Absolutely! At least 75% of my clients come to me for grey coverage. I offer a variety of coverage options, including full coverage, to suit each individual's needs.
No. While some of us have become accustomed to inhaling ammonia and strong fragrances, this can lead to health concerns in the future. Many of my clients have told me they no longer leave the salon with headaches, and I love hearing that!
First and foremost, I always recommend consulting a doctor if you're experiencing hair loss. However, in my experience, conventional hair color can weaken the hair and may contribute to hair loss. When I used to touch up my own hair, it would fall out in clumps—THIS IS NOT NORMAL! I've seen these changes not only in my own hair but also in many of my clients'. If you're experiencing hair loss, making the switch to gentler products may help tremendously, and I’d be happy to assist in improving the health of your hair.
While I work with healthier versions of lighteners, I don’t have access to a magical bleach that won’t cause damage or breakage if I try to lighten your hair beyond what it can handle. That being said, I can still deliver beautiful, dimensional results depending on your hair’s condition. Want to see if your desired outcome is achievable? Unfortunately, no. While I do enjoy working with vivid colors, I haven't found any on the market that meet the clean standards I uphold in my salon. I've experimented with brands in the past, but they didn't meet the level of quality I'm looking for. However, I'm open to the idea in the future if the right products become available.
Typical color processing time is usually 35 to 45 minutes. However, I use an advanced hair steaming technique that is gentler on the hair and reduces the processing time to just 20 minutes.
